Hi! I am Arunima Saxena, a senior at Lexington High School in Massachusetts. I am interested in dance, coding, and learning how to start and operate businesses. And I listen to way too much K-pop.
I love to take a product idea and build a business around it. Blake Sims, a Boston University professor got me excited about it, and I haven’t stopped since. I founded Optiglass and am helping scale Patradya. More on my entrepreneurial streak here.
I love computer science and coding. I got my Mom and Dad to thank for it - both software engineers. Here is a game I wrote in Java, and here is the source code. Software is changing the world and solving complex problems. These are exciting times. I am getting my feet wet in AI these days.
Last, but not the least, I LOVE TO DANCE. I started ballet at 4, then diversified into synchronized ice skating, went on to win a number of national medals, including the national gold medal, twice, as a member of the Hayden Synchro team. In high school, I re-started Kathak, which I’d been learning since childhood. Now, I dance Kathak, teach Kathak, and am researching cool ways machine learning, can help in teaching Kathak. More about my dance fever here.
